It’s been a long time coming but the new St James Quarter in Edinburgh is now open, offering a mix of luxury shopping, an enticing mix of new restaurants, cafés and bars, Scotland’s first W hotel and an Everyman cinema.
Described as the capital’s largest development in a generation and a “masterplan in urban placemaking”, St James Quarter also has the Bonnie & Wild Scottish Marketplace, aparthotel brand Roomzzz and nine new public squares.
A neighbour to retailer Harvey Nichols, which anchors premium shopping street Multrees Walk, St James Quarter brings new vibrancy to Edinburgh’s shopping scene and is definitely the place to be seen this summer.
