A popular restaurant and bar in Bridge of Allan, near Stirling, has opened the doors to its new four-star quality assured luxury accommodation.
The Meadowpark on Kenilworth Road has unveiled four stylish guest rooms following a £500,000-plus makeover.
Each spacious room enjoys views towards Stirling Castle and the surrounding countryside, and takes its name and design inspiration from the local environment and landmarks, such as The Wallace Monument and Castle View.
Brimming with character and charm, they retain many original period features including high ceilings, ornate cornicing and panelled, original sash-and-case windows. There’s also a spectacular spiralling original staircase.
Breakfast hampers containing local produce are provided to all guests until noon on weekdays and 10am at weekends, when The Meadowpark restaurant opens for all-day brunches, lunches, afternoon tea, and a range of other refreshments.
The Meadowpark is known as a family-friendly venue with home-cooked food, log fires in winter, and al-fresco dining during the summer months. Private event spaces for all occasions are available. A relaxed garden area boasts an outdoor pizza oven and can seat up to 70 guests, while a cosy conservatory can accommodate up to 40.
Head Chef Jesse Spear and his team create hearty dishes made with locally-sourced, seasonal and often organic produce, including tasty classics and traditional Sunday roasts. Vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options are available, along with a children’s menu.
There’s an exciting cocktail menu and extensive wine, craft ale and spirits menu which includes local tipples such as Stirling Gin and Deanston Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky from nearby Doune.
The Meadowpark is run by Scottish hospitality group Signature which has a portfolio of over 20 bars, restaurants and hotels around the country.
